CA New Syllabus 2018 | Changes in CPT IPCC and CA Final. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Recently announced that they will make some changes in CA course from 2018. Today ICAI has given a notification about CA new syllabus 2018. CA 2018 changes have horrified students with its new pattern 2018. There are changes in all the CA stages for e.g. CA CPT New Syllabus 2018CA IPCC New Syllabus 2018, CA Final New Syllabus 2018. Students who dreams to become CA are facing much trouble because of the new pattern and syllabus for CA 2018, THE ICAI have made many changes in the new pattern, as they want the students to take better and major challenges an achieve them. CA New Syllabus 2018 For CPT IPCC CA Final

ICAI has changed name of entrance test i;e CPT (common proficiency test) to CA Foundation course. There are 4 papers in CA Foundation course from 2018. ICAI introduced general English and Business and Commercial Knowledge subjects in CPT syllabus. See below

CA New Course | Foundation Route

Revised Scheme: Route I – Foundation Course

Under the Foundation Course Route, the following steps are required

  1. Register with Board of Studies (BoS) after appearing in Class XII till June 30/Dec 31.
  2. Be eligible to appear for Foundation examination after passing Class XII examination. The first Foundation examination can be taken in November/May, as applicable, following passing of Class XII examination.
  3. Qualify Foundation Course.
  4. Register with the BoS for the Intermediate Course.
  5. Complete 8 months of study
  6. Appear and Pass in either or both Groups of Intermediate Course
  7. Successfully complete Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) before commencement of the practical training
  8. Register for Three years Practical Training on passing either or both the Groups of Intermediate.
  9. Register for the Final Course after qualifying both the Groups of Intermediate Course.
  10. Successfully complete Four Weeks Advanced ICITSS during the last two years of Practical Training.
  11. Complete Practical Training.
  12. Appear in Final examination after completion of practical training and Advanced ICITSS.
  13. Become Member.

Note: ICAI has decided in principle the above mentioned Scheme. However, the scheme will be notified in the official Gazette in due course.

CA New Course | Direct Entry Route

Revised Scheme: Route II – Direct Entry Route

The ICAI allows Commerce Graduates/Post-Graduates (with minimum 55% marks) or Other Graduates/Post-Graduates (with minimum 60% marks) and Intermediate level passed students of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Cost Accountants of India to enter directly to its Intermediate Course. The following steps are required to be undertaken by the eligible Graduates and Post Graduates under this route:

  1. Register with the BOS for the Intermediate course (provisional registration allowed to the students doing Final year of graduation).
  2. Successfully complete Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) before commencement of the practical training.
  3. Register for Three Years Practical Training.
  4. Appear in Intermediate Examination after Nine months of Practical Training.
  5. Qualify Intermediate Course.
  6. Register for the Final Course after qualifying both Groups of Intermediate Course.
  7. Successfully complete Four Weeks Advanced ICITSS during the last two years of Practical Training.
  8. Complete Practical Training.
  9. Appear in Final examination after completion of practical training and Advanced ICITSS.
  10. Become Member

Note: Candidates who have passed Intermediate level examination of ICSI or ICWAI and enter the CA Intermediate course directly shall be treated at par with Foundation passed students and shall have to undergo the CA course in the manner into the Foundation passed students.

Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS)

Duration: 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for IT)

When to complete: Students registering for the Intermediate course shall be required to do ICITSS before commencement of practical training.

Assessment Test: An assessment test shall be conducted at the end of the course which the students have to qualify for being able to appear in the Intermediate examination.

Practical Training

Duration of Practical Training: Three Years

Commences after completing Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) and passing Either or Both Groups of Intermediate.

For direct entrants coming through Graduation and Post Graduation route, the practical training commences immediately after they complete four weeks ICITSS.

Advance Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS)

Duration: 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for Advance IT)

When to complete: Students undergoing Practical training shall be required to do AICITSS during the last 2 years of Practical training but to complete the same before appearing in the Final Examination.

Assessment Test: An assessment test shall be conducted at the end of the course which the students have to qualify for being eligible to appear in the Final Examination.

Verification of ICWAI Inter / Final December 2014 Answer Papers

In case if CMA student has failed in CMA exam, and if he thinks he should have been passed then he should apply for verification or revaluation of answer sheet of you CMA exams. Information as to whether a candidates answers to each question in any particular subject or subjects at any examination have been examined and marked or not may be supplied to a candidate.

Time Limit for making application

A candidate may apply to the institute within a period of 30 days from the declaration of the results of the examination.

Verification Fee

The fee for verification is Rs.250 per paper.

You need to fill this verification form and need to send it to the ICMAI office.

CA Final and CA IPCC Admit Card Nov 2015

ICAI will release admit cards of CA IPCC and Final for Nov 2015 on 12th October 2015. For download CA Final and IPCC admit card, you should have IPCC registration number or Bar code of IPCC exam form and PIN.

PIN is like a password. It is a four digit number of your choice entered in the relevant column in the examination form. Its not possible to download/print the admit card without this PIN. Hence, they are advised to memorise and keep the PIN safe for future reference.

Note : Physical admit cards will be sent by post to only those who submitted physical OMR exam forms and are found to be eligible. No physical admit cards will be sent to those who applied online. They will be required to print their admit cards from the below mentioned website.

How to Download CA Final and CA IPCC Admit Card Nov 2015 ?

1. Go to ICAI official site www.icai.nic.in

2. Select the examination in which you intend to appear i;e IPCC or Final

3. Enter Student registration number or the bar code of the examination form and Personal Identification Number (PIN) indicated by you in your application form.

On next screen it will show a message like this ” You have the option of downloading the Admit Card maximum 3 times “. But you can download your admit card more than 3 times !! See below Screen shot.

4. When your Admit Card appears on the screen, save it  or take a printout.

After download your CA Final or IPCC admit card 2015, you should verify the name, registration number, centre, medium, Group opted, etc.

In case of difficulty in downloading or printing of admit card, or in case of discrepancy in the data contained in the admit card printed, immediately contact the Helpline numbers 0120-3054 851, 3054 852, 3054 853, 3054 835, 4953 751, 4953 752, 4953 753, 4953 754 or Fax No 0120 3054 841, 3054 843 immediately, by quoting the registration number, Bar code number of the examination form, receipt number issued by the regional office(s), if any, Centre opted with Zone applicable, telephone number, fax number etc for prompt action.

1. How do I get my admit card?

CA Final and IPCC Admit card for Nov 2015 exam are hosted on http://www.icai.nic.in. Candidates may print their admit cards from the website. Yes. However, once the admit cards are posted/hosted, no changes will be made thereon. The photographs will be used at the time of preparation of pass certificates. We advise you to carry with you a photo identity card issued by the Govt. or by ICAI at the time of registration as articles assistants, to the examination hall, along with the admit card downloaded/printed from the website.

4. How do I print my admit card from the website ?

Visit the site http://www.icai.nic.in.

Enter the following:

a) Select the examination in which you intend to appear
b) Student registration number or the bar code of the examination form; and
c) Personal Identification Number (PIN) indicated by you in your application form.

Your admit card and the “Instructions to Examinees” will appear on the screen. You can then print the same in A 4 size paper.

5. What is PIN?

It is the four digit number of your choice which you have entered in your exam form. It is like a password. Without this, you will not be able to download/print your admit card from the website.

6. I forgot my PIN. What can I do now?

We had advised you, earlier, while you filled up the exam form, to memorise or keep it safe for future reference. We had also advised you to keep a copy of the exam form for reference at a later date, if need be. You can now check the copy of the form for the PIN.

7. My photograph and/or signature are not there in the admit card. Is it valid?

Yes. It is valid. However, in such cases where your photograph is not on the admit card, you should carry a photo identity card issued by the Govt. or issued by ICAI at the time of registration as articled assistants, failing which you will not be allowed entry into the examination hall.

Else, you may get your photograph and signature attested by a Chartered Accountant or a Gazetted Officer on the official letterhead indicating inter-alia the following

Exemptions granted to you are not shown on the admit card. Please go through the relevant statement of marks of the exam, where in your opinion, you were granted an exemption in a paper(s).

So also, “#” symbol printed against the marks of a paper denotes that you have been granted an exemption in that paper, which will be valid for the next three following exams. The result of that group is also shown as “F-EX” ( i..e failed with exemption).

Alphabet “E” printed against the marks of a paper denotes that marks of that paper have been brought forward from an exemption granted in that paper in an earlier attempt.

If no such symbol (#) is printed against the marks of any paper, even though the marks obtained in that paper may be more than 60, then that indicates that no exemption has been granted in that paper.
